Services

Emergency medical services include:

1) Emergency Medical Response, Stabilisation and Medical Transport:

The Contact Center will immediately dispatch an appropriate road or air ambulance, support will be provided to the member and where relevant, the member will be stabilised before transfer is provided to the closest most appropriate medical facility.

2) Emergency Medical Crisis Center:

Lifesaving advice will be provided to guide a member through a medical crisis.

3) Medical Hotline:

General medical assistance will be available 24 hours in confidence, as a telephonic conversation does not permit an accurate diagnosis, the service will include referrals to medical practitioners.

4) Trauma Counselling:

Trauma support will be provided, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

5) Secure personal information:

Compliant to the confidentiality act, member’s data is kept safe and guarded in a well maintained and monitored online system. Paramedics are only allowed to view medical information, this will allow faster and more efficient treatment.

6) Legal representation:

Members will be linked to third party legal assistance that will guide members through the process and ensure the best possible settlement through the road accident fund.

7) Roadside assistance:

Members will be linked to reputable towing services.
